It doesn’t take a degree in finance to see the cost of college continues to rise. In its 2010 report, the College Board reported that public four-year institutions raised prices 5.6% annually between the 2000-01 and 2010-11 school year. Put another way, a $5,000 education in 2000-01 is projected to cost $8,622 in 2010-11.
